We warmly invite you to a special European Night of Museums, which will take place on 16 May from 5 pm to 10 pm at the former Cistercian monastery in Gościków-Paradyż. The programme will include, amongst other things, themed talks exploring the history of the abbey and its spiritual and cultural significance, as well as guided tours of the church and monastery. Participants will have a unique opportunity to visit areas normally off-limits to the public – including the crypt and the Gothic cellars.

As is tradition, there will also be a family treasure hunt, workshops – including cooking sessions – and a traditional playground. The evening will culminate in a special concert by the group ‘Scandicus’, inspired by Franciscan spirituality and 13th-century music. The concert will take place in the abbey church, creating a unique setting for an encounter with early music.
