We offer
Assistance with submitting applications
If you choose our services, we will undertake the comprehensive preparation, on behalf of the client, of the research programme and the application, together with the required attachments, for a permit for supervision/ research to the Lubuskie Provincial Conservator of Monuments (LWKZ), conducting an archival search, preparing a report and documentation of the archaeological research, and submitting them to the LWKZ.
Conducting Archaeological Supervision
Over the last two decades, this has become the most popular form of heritage protection. It involves an archaeologist monitoring the progress of construction works and, should no historic strata be encountered during the works, carrying out ongoing exploration and documentation. The costs of supervision depend mainly on the scope of the construction works.
Rescue Archaeological Surveys
The Regional Office for the Protection of Monuments (WKZ) mandates the conduct of rescue archaeological surveys in locations where the scope of the planned development encroaches upon archaeological layers. These are usually entered into the register of archaeological sites. It should be borne in mind that rescue excavations are time-consuming and should be carried out sufficiently early so as not to disrupt the project schedule. Their costs are determined by a number of factors: the size of the site under investigation, the time required for the exploration and documentation of the cultural layers uncovered, and the subsequent conservation and scientific analysis of the recovered archaeological material.
